I like building things that actually do something. Backend systems, REST APIs, databases , the stuff that runs quietly in the background. I also build the occasional experiment that starts with "I wonder if I can build this myself."

This website isn't a résumé with a URL. It's my corner of the internet where I show what I'm working on and whatever else is on my mind.

The short version

I grew up in a small village near Chichawatni. I topped my school in matriculation (peaked since), and got my first PC around 7th grade. I wanted to be a hacker.

My first language was C++, learned from LearnCpp. My first actual project was a lifespan guessing game , it was terrible, but it taught me that I could actually build things.

Then I found out that websites are just code, so I learned HTML, CSS, JS, and eventually PHP. I worked at CAT Marketing Systems as an intern on a real-estate CMS, then at PHPTravels as a Junior PHP Developer working on backend systems, REST APIs, and SaaS products.

Now I'm deep into Laravel. I built Evently to learn it, and right now I'm building Sakinah , an Islamic web app for Azkar, Hadith, and Quran content.

What I like building

I'm most interested in the backend side of things. Specifically:

• PHP & Laravel
• REST APIs and integrations
• Databases and schema design
• Auth and permissions
• CMS and admin panels

More than just "how" to use a framework, I care about why it works that way. I want to know when to use a middleware, what problem it solves, and what happens if I don't.

Random facts about me

1. I was usually first in my class and topped my school in matriculation. I've peaked since.
2. As a kid, I wanted to become a hacker. I'm still working on it.
3. My first PC arrived around 7th grade and I had no idea what to do with it.
4. I started programming with C++ and learned the fundamentals from LearnCpp.com.
5. The first website I built was for my college.
6. My first programming project was a simple C++ program for calculating lifespan of a person. It was terrible. I still think about it.
7. I used to walk to school even after my family gave me a motorbike.
8. I switched to Linux because Windows felt too bloated. Linux is now my primary OS.
9. I usually don't code with music on , it distracts me and makes me overthink.
10. I used to play Free Fire, but quit because it was eating too much of my time.
11. I really like kaddoo ka salan. This is not a joke.

Outside the code

I'm not coding all the time. I played cricket until matriculation, and apparently I was particularly good at throwing a plate. Yes, like a frisbee. No, I don't want to talk about it.

I prefer coffee over tea, although tea still gets the job done. My laptop runs Linux, my projects run on PHP, and I spend an unreasonable amount of time trying to make both of them work.
